Garbaruk is a company from the Ukraine that has its roots in motorsport. Designing and manufacturing tuning parts for engines and chassis were one of the Garbaruk company's specialties. The cycling-loving Garbaruk brothers now incorporate the experience and knowledge they have gained into the production of bicycle parts. All steps from design and production to surface finishing take place under one roof. 7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which Garbaruk's chainrings are elaborately CNC-milled. The chainrings have a number of features that set them apart from competitors.
narrow-wide teeth
In order to hold the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile of alternating narrow and wide teeth. To ensure that this is also the case under very rough and coarse conditions, the teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are made around 40% longer than normal teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that the chainring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when the chain runs over it.
Note:
The small chainrings with 30 teeth (30 teeth round) and 32 teeth (32 teeth oval) have an integrated thread for attachment. We recommend using a rear derailleur with increased cage tension (SRAM Type 2-3, Shimano Shadow+), which holds the chain reliably in position and prevents the chain from jumping off.
