The Schwalbe Albert guarantees safety and control in all situations. It has the perfect all-round properties for almost all routes and conditions. The sophisticated intermediate tread pattern is combined with the best rubber compounds to push the limits to unimagined dimensions. The shoulder lugs adopted from the Tacky Chan ensure extended braking edges and good lateral force transmission. Thanks to the new radial carcass, the tyre absorbs bumps much better and literally sucks itself into the ground, as it can deform at certain points.
The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle on normal bicycle tyres, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle on the Albert Gravity Pro. The technology, which was developed in the Downhill World Cup, turns the MTB world on its head. Primarily, the arrangement ensures that the carcass material overlaps shorter and with less tension. As a result, the tire deforms more selectively and can react much more flexibly and adaptably to bumps without sacrificing the safety factor. With the same air pressure, radial tyres offer 30 percent more contact area than conventional tyres. The result is more grip, more cushioning and more comfort.
Schwalbe PRO
The PRO tyres from Schwalbe stand for exceptional performance and were explicitly designed for competition. Extremely fast, very light with good mileage make these tyres the first choice for all ambitious athletes.
Addix Soft compound
The compound provides a good balance of speed and damping and is perfect for hardcore use in enduro, gravity and downhill. Thanks to the improved compound, it is also ideal for use in cold conditions.
Addix Ultra Soft rubber compound
The compound with maximum damping is perfect for hardcore enduro, gravity and downhill use. Thanks to the improved compound, it can also be used optimally in cold conditions.
TLR - Tubeless Ready
A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard: even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, makes tubeless conversion extremely easy. The use of sealing fluid is necessary, but the fitting itself is easy. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are a thing of the past with Schwalbe TLR tyres.
Note: Tyres with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tires degrade more quickly and are more susceptible to wear.
