Schwalbe worked closely with the professionals from the Commencal and Muc-Off racing teams to develop their new high-performance tyre. Over the course of two years, this collaboration resulted in the Tacky Chan. With a completely new tread design, the Tacky Chan is the ideal companion for downhill and enduro - the perfect combination of stability and adaptability is key here. Reinforced shoulder lugs, extended braking edges and L-shaped lugs enable higher speed with less weight, greater braking traction and maximum grip, especially when cornering. The open shoulder area provides direct feedback and improves self-cleaning. As usual, this MTB tyre has features such as TLE, Snakeskin, Super Downhill puncture protection and ADDIX Compound Ultra Soft.

ADDIX ULTRASOFT, violet marking
The compound with maximum damping is perfect for hardcore use in enduro, gravity and downhill. Thanks to the improved compound, it can also be used optimally in cold conditions.

NOTE: Tyres with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tyres degrade more quickly and are more susceptible to wear!

TLE - Tubeless Easy
A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard:
Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealing fluid is required, but mounting is otherwise just as easy as with real tubeless tyres. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are no longer necessary with Tubeless Easy.

Snakeskin
The SnakeSkin side fabric guarantees additional cut-resistant sidewalls and thus increases puncture resistance.

Super Downhill
Uncompromising stability for DH racing at the limit. Confident on rough tracks. Whether blocked stone fields, wide jumps or deep drops - Super Downhill is designed for downhill athletes who demand maximum control, maximum stability and powerful puncture protection.
