For this reason, the developers have given the GX1 DH 1x X-HORIZON rear derailleur world-class features and offer it at a price that is appropriate for the Wednesday Night Championships. This DH rear derailleur is easier to maneuver, incredibly precise, and minimizes the unwanted sounds of banging chains, so you can focus on the good feeling of a perfect hit line.

CAGE LOCK
Thanks to the CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, the removal and installation of the rear wheel and the chain assembly are faster and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock.

X-HORIZON
The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON rear derailleur limits the movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating the so-called "ghost-shifting" and simultaneously reducing the shifting force. For faster and more accurate gear changes, the large offset of the upper pulley ensures constant chain spacing in each gear.

X-ACTUATION
The X-ACTUATION technology, specially developed for SRAM 1x, ensures precise and constant switching over the entire cassette.

X-SYNC
SRAM X-SYNC 1x chainrings provide the highest performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile and the rounded oblique edges support the chain guide. In order to provide the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-SYNC chainrings have recesses for removing dirt and slush for the inner chain links and rollers. The X-SYNC chainrings manufactured in Germany are an important part of the SRAM 1x drive.
