Sram X01 DH Rear Derailleur 7-speed X-HORIZON Black Short

The 7-speed X-HORIZON rear derailleur ensures smooth and reliable shifting no matter what terrain you're riding on.The X-HORIZON technology ensures constant chain spacing for each of the seven gears and eliminates vertical movement for faster shifting and less shifting force. Ghost shifting is also reliably prevented. The Type 3.0 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology and the X-SYNC chain guide roller with 12 teeth keeps the chain in place and puts an end to wobbling and slapping chains.

Thanks to CAGE LOCK technology, removing and installing the rear wheel is easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock it. Together with the X01 DH 7-speed shifter, X-HORIZON™ forms the backbone of X-ACTUATION™ technology: the result is buttery smooth, reliable and fast shifting in every situation. The rear derailleur is available with 2 different cage lengths to accommodate all design situations, e.g. unusually long chainstays.

CAGE LOCK
Thanks to the CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel and fitting the chain is quicker and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock it.

X-HORIZON
The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting and reducing shifting force at the same time. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper derailleur pulley ensures a constant chain gap in every gear.

X-ACTUATION
The X-ACTUATION technology specially developed for SRAM 1x ensures precise and consistent shifting along the entire cassette.

X-SYNC
X-SYNC 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded slanted edges support the chain guide. In order to offer the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, the X-SYNC chainrings have recesses for removing dirt and mud from the inner chain links and rollers. Made in Germany, X-SYNC chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1x drivetrain.


ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH
ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH derailleurs offer maximum drivetrain stability - even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and slamming chains - without sacrificing precision.

NOTE: With the short cage, the maximum change in length of the chainstay from fully extended to fully compressed must NOT exceed 25 mm!
Alot of high pivot bikes require the medium cage length instead of short, check with your manufactures specifications to what cage length your bike requires. Some lower mounted high pivots designs may get away with the short cage length
