TUNE has been offering the Speedneedle saddle for over 20 years. It was one of the first lightweight saddles suitable for everyday use, and thanks to its low weight (under 90g depending on the model), high comfort, durability, and of course, its unique design, it quickly became a bestseller. Even today, more than 20 years after its release, demand remains incredibly high. All the
more reason for us to kick off the next 20 years with the new Speedneedle 20TWENTY saddle. Drawing on years of experience, the 130mm Speedneedle 20TWENTY is based on the slightly wider Speedneedle Marathon version. Jürgen has remained true to the robust and proven carbon fiber-aramid fiber mix rails. They give the saddle the necessary stability for mounting on the seatpost. The saddle shell and padding have been redesigned. Compared to the Speedneedle, the Speedneedle 20TWENTY saddle is fully leather-wrapped around the sides. For greater riding comfort, the carbon strip is now lengthwise instead of crosswise. This distributes the padding precisely where you need it. Your backside will thank you! The rear edge has been modernized with a curved design.
Every Speedneedle saddle is handcrafted by Jürgen Mikus in Leverkusen. In his small carbon fiber workshop, he has been producing his saddles with meticulous attention to detail and dedication for years, ensuring the highest quality. All of this makes the Speedneedle a truly exclusive product!
